Junior Account Executive (SMB)

Torch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up focused on improving the lives of healthcare providers through innovative e-commerce solutions. As a Junior Account Executive, you will drive outbound sales activities, qualify leads, and transition into a full-cycle sales role with opportunities for promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective Torch customers
  • High-volume outbound activity (typically 90+ calls/day during ramp, decreasing as you take on demos and maintain conversion rate targets)
  • Qualify accounts and build pipeline across dental practices
  • Shadow closing calls and gradually take on your own full demos as soon as your fourth month
  • Utilize Salesforce and Dialpad to manage your pipeline and track prospect conversations
  • Receive coaching and development sessions from Sales Managers
  • Work toward promotion to AE role with full closing ownership, SDR and Marketing support

Skills

  • 0 - 2 years of experience as a SDR in an outbound sales, SaaS SMB or mid-market environment, with a strong emphasis on qualification and discovery
  • OR recent graduate with strong demonstrated interest in sales or competitive positions (internships, leadership, student organizations, athletics)
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume outbound activity and qualify pipeline
  • Interest in building a full-cycle sales career
  • Highly coachable, competitive, and curious with a strong internal drive
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by ownership
