Administrative/Clerical Assistant

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

KPM Law, an established, mid-sized law firm, is seeking a full-time administrative/clerical assistant for their Workers’ Compensation team. This is a key role within our Workers’ Compensation Team, and the successful candidate will be integral in assisting our attorneys with cases from inception to final hearing. We seek candidates who have strong organizational skills, are detail-oriented, and are able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required. Superior knowledge of technology and filing systems is preferred. Opportunity for advancement as skills and expertise increase. This is an in-office position, with some flexibility to work from home on occasion. Our firm culture is very warm, inviting, and supportive. Staff turnover is low and job satisfaction is high. Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of technology including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to learn document management software
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Past admin/clerical/bookkeeping experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up electronic case files
  • Setting depositions/court reporters
  • Setting up conference calls
  • Tracking/paying invoices
  • Scanning/sorting mail
  • Ensuring receipt of subpoenaed records
  • Scheduling/calendaring
  • Downloading/uploading documents
  • Close files
  • Other support functions as needed
