Position awarded will be assigned to either Senior Continuous Improvement Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Associate Continuous Improvement Manager, or Continuous Improvement Lead- depending on the strength of their experience and qualifications. Relocation is eligible for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Trains, coaches, and supports internal plant locations on implementation of the Hormel Production System. Audits and evaluates plant progress on the HPS Maturity Model and provides specific feedback to improve compliance and performance. Coaches, educates, and certifies team members on Focused Improvement tools and methodologies. Supports the plants in effective application of the Maintenance Work Process, Autonomous Maintenance, and the Maintenance Management Operating System. Mentors and advises problem-solving teams throughout the organization in the utilization of improvement tools, methods, data collection and statistics. Actively participates in the annual Best-of-the-Best process to recognize enterprise process improvements. QUALIFICATIONS: Required A passion for continuous improvement. Travel up to 80% of the time to support plant implementations of the Hormel Production System. A bachelor's degree or significant industry experience. A pattern of initiative and leadership. Proven problem-solving, decision making and project management skills. Strong analytical and time management skills. Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. The ability to lead multiple teams on a variety of complex projects. A track record of successfully executing Continuous Improvement Tools such as DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, A3, and REPS. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. LOCATION: Austin, MN Corporate Office (Preferred) or remote (based in the midwest with proximity to a major airport) COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range is between $67,500 - $158,900 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will, depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
