Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience that aligns with careerzynith’s service standards.
  • Greet every guest with a warm smile, maintain eye contact, and proactively offer assistance.
  • Listen attentively to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure each guest leaves satisfied.
  • Share best‑practice service techniques with teammates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on product features, promotions, and complementary items to enhance the shopping journey.

Operations & Transaction Management

  • Operate the assigned cash register efficiently, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy.
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with careerzynith policies.
  • Recommend additional items, trade‑up options, and companion products to increase basket size.
  • Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; conduct regular inventory checks and record‑keeping.
  • Price new merchandise, execute price changes, and assist with stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) method.
  • Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize shrinkage and safeguard store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  • Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure merchandising.
  • Assist with food‑safety protocols, separating raw and pre‑cooked items, and adhering to placement guidelines.
  • Operate store equipment, including photo kiosks, digital passport stations, and creative printing machines, while promoting related services.
  • Manage web‑pick‑up orders: monitor incoming requests, pick items accurately, and deliver orders to customers promptly.
  • Support both interior and exterior store maintenance to keep the environment clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Comply with all careerzynith policies, maintain respectful coworker relationships, and complete special assignments as directed.

Training & Personal Development

  • Participate in mandatory training sessions and complete performance‑linked learning modules assigned by the Store Manager or corporate learning teams.
  • Seek out opportunities to expand product knowledge, customer‑service techniques, and operational expertise.
  • Provide feedback on training effectiveness and suggest improvements to enhance team performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions associated with checkout and stocking duties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help customers and teammates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a fast‑paced store setting.
  • Prior experience working for careerzynith or a comparable retail brand is a plus.
  • Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic cash handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and upsell complementary products.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
