Position Overview

As a Chat Sales Support Representative, you will play a critical role in our sales support team, working closely with Lead Distributors and Account Executives to ensure that leads are evaluated and qualified according to our established criteria. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our sales agents, responding to customer and prospect queries, and staying up-to-date with new products and feature launches. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining regular contact with prospective customers, leads, and accounts, and in learning our products and systems to become a product and system expert.

Responsibilities

* Work with Lead Distributors and Account Executives to ensure leads are evaluated according to qualification criteria

  • Provide support to sales agents and respond to customer and prospect queries
  • Call on open leads to qualify if they are still interested
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and feature launches and ensure the sales team is on board
  • Work within the internal CRM system to ensure updates are made in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective customers, leads, and accounts
  • Learn the product to become a product expert
  • Learn the system and become a system expert
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and resolve customer issues
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to improve their performance

Experience Required

* 3+ years' experience as a sales support specialist or sales support associate

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to customers
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Expert data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, with a strong understanding of their functionality and benefits
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and basic Office programs
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, optimistic disposition, and team player mentality

Education/Licenses/Certification/Formal Training

* High School Diploma required

  • College Degree preferred
