A Day in the Life of a Claims Customer Care Specialist

As a Claims Customer Care Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers navigating the claims process. Your role will involve:

• Explaining the claim process to customers and addressing their concerns
• Building strong relationships with customers through empathetic and compassionate communication
• Providing accurate and timely information on claim status and resolving inquiries
• Processing claims payments and scheduling auto and/or property inspections
• Assisting with rental car arrangements and other customer needs
• Documenting all actions taken in the claim at every touchpoint
• Utilizing online resources and claims knowledge to assist customers with claims-related concerns

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• 1 year of customer service experience (preferably in a call center environment)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new technology
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Bilingual and/or prior military experience is a plus
