Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer support through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer support and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a professional and empathetic tone throughout all interactions
  • Planning and selling travel services, including arranging transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel-related services
  • Advising clients on destinations, travel dates, costs, and accommodations to help them make informed decisions
  • Promoting travel packages and utilizing promotional strategies and materials to sell itineraries, tours, and package deals
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer concerns efficiently, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary
  • Maintaining customer records and following established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Building and retaining customer loyalty by engaging customers, nurturing relationships, and fostering repeat business
  • Staying updated on new services, policies, and industry trends to provide the best advice and support

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer support or client service role
  • Strong phone handling skills, active listening, and comfort with various communication channels
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
