Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through a combination of courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism. You'll process orders, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. If you're a strong communicator with a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and fax

  • Process orders for material or merchandise received by telephone, email, and fax
  • Demonstrate drive and enthusiasm while handling customer orders, questions, and complaints
  • Respond to billing inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Classify and organize reports and tickets
  • Arrange items in alphanumeric or subject order
  • Speak clearly and communicate effectively with customers
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Plan, schedule, and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a positive work environment and ensure the quality of work as measured against established standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Skills and Abilities

* Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks

  • Perform 200 inbound and outbound calls per day
  • Answer telephones and transmit messages
  • Provide accurate information
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
  • Computer literate
  • Classify and organize reports and tickets
  • Arrange items in alphanumeric or subject order
  • Speak clearly
  • Work independently
  • Plan, schedule, and organize work
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Ensure the quality of work as measured against established standards
  • Maintain confidentiality

Illustrative Duties

* Answer inbound calls for order delivery and respond to customer questions

  • Perform outbound calls to customers
  • Communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions
  • Key orders via numeric
  • Process special delivery orders
  • Process all fax orders
  • Complete driver notes
  • Process late orders, credit, and complaint forms
  • Research and compile information
  • Attend meetings and serve on temporary committees as requested
  • Ensure office equipment is in working order
  • Attend assigned training sessions
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as requested

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in a call center or customer-facing role
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
