Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Running the register, cashiering, and making purchase suggestions to drive sales growth
  • Working with our food program to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless customer service
  • Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working collaboratively with a fun and energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and goals
  • Providing excellent customer care, communication, and friendly conversation to drive customer satisfaction
  • Performing at a quick pace while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Coming up with creative solutions to problems and thinking on your feet to provide exceptional customer service

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices

  • Sales and marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and increasing customer engagement
  • Experience working with a variety of customers, including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours

  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
