Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing consistently high-quality customer care and ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints
  • Performing a range of airport-related tasks and being prepared to assist with daily operations in areas such as check-in, security, gates, and arrivals
  • Conducting security checks, screening passengers, and verifying travel documents
  • Working closely with Lead Specialists to ensure smooth operations and providing administrative support
  • Promoting and selling American Airlines' services and products to clients
  • Participating in mandatory training and adhering to company policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on American Airlines' services and products
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints
  • Perform airport-related tasks, including check-in, security, gates, and arrivals
  • Conduct security checks, screen passengers, and verify travel documents
  • Provide administrative support to Lead Specialists and other team members
  • Participate in mandatory training and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English and German (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation systems (Saber/Qik)
  • Ability to work in a shift environment, including weekends and holidays

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong knowledge of American Airlines' services and products
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

  • Knowledge of airport operations and procedures
  • Experience working with reservation systems (Saber/Qik)
  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g. Spanish, French, Mandarin)
