Experienced Data Entry Representative – Insurance and Financial Products Industry

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Representative to join our team on an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension up to 2 years. As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, and identifying and resolving eligibility edits. Key Responsibilities:

* Enter claims into data management systems in compliance with established procedures

• Meet production and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry
• Identify and resolve eligibility edits, referring all other edits to claims examiners
• Work with multiple monitors, utilizing Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage data and communicate with team members
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless data entry and processing
• Adapt to daily and weekly changes, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
• Prioritize work assigned, responding to calls and emails throughout the workday
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and quality

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the insurance and financial products industry

• Proficiency in inputting data into data management systems
• Experience working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
• Medium skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work with multiple monitors and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with insurance products, such as medical or dental
• Experience in a production work environment, meeting daily metrics and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in data entry
• Reliable and self-managed, with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with provider data demographics

• Familiarity with enhanced product services and employer-paid benefits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Experience working in a remote environment, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills
• Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
