Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Cloud-Based Data Pipeline Development and Support

The Role
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and sustainment of our media business. You'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on various projects, including data pipeline and dataset development, data approval processes, and overall cycle warning strategies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines, and your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain data pipelines and datasets for our media business
- Collaborate with Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on data pipeline and dataset development projects
- Design and implement data approval processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and maintain automated work schedulers to streamline data pipeline operations
- Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data pipeline issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and datasets
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data pipeline development
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies, such as AWS
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Strong understanding of data set design and capability
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with cloud-based data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
- Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control system like GitLab/GitHub
- Experience using Docker and containerization
