Key Responsibilities:

As a remote customer service representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing phone support to patients and handling new medication orders and refills, including benefit verification and prior authorization.
  • Coordinating and processing patient medication requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specialty medications.
  • Collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service role, handling high-volume, complex customer needs via telephone.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email.
  • 1+ year of PC keyboarding experience, with strong typing skills and accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • 6+ months of experience resolving high-volume, complex customer needs via telephone.
  • Experience working in healthcare, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
