Job Summary

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with our source data software teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide insights for better decision-making. You'll be responsible for implementing data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, performing multiple components of the development lifecycle, and providing technical support and collaboration within a team environment.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and supporting analytics solutions to provide insights for better decision-making
• Implementing data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services
• Performing multiple components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, and alerting
• Providing technical support and collaborating within a team environment, as well as working independently
• Being part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product
• Implementing batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies
• Developing coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 1 year of software solution development using agile, DevOps, working in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs or data engineering solutions
• 1 year of data analytics experience using SQL
• 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI
• Combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools/structures, including scripting languages, data platforms, Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD, and BI analytics tool stacks

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• 2 years of software solution development using agile, DevOps, product model
• 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL
• 2 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure
• 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Airline industry experience
