Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our distributed systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power our global entertainment platform. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power our global entertainment platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and TPM, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality solutions
- Architect and build robust, flexible, and highly available distributed systems that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that adheres to careerzynith's coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to ensure the highest level of technical excellence
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in distributed systems development
- Collaborate with open-source communities, contribute to careerzynith's OSS initiatives, and share knowledge and expertise with the wider engineering community
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
- Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including scalability, reliability, and performance
- Proficiency in designing and developing peaceful web services, including RESTful APIs and gRPC
- Experience with building and working with versatile, issue-open-minded, distributed systems
- Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in distributed systems development
