About the Role

As a Technical Specialist on our Datacom and Video Support Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our video and datacom systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our customers, as well as collaborating with our internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints
  • Conduct site visits to troubleshoot and repair video and datacom systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support customer support efforts
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role, with a focus on video and datacom systems
  • Strong understanding of video and datacom technologies, including encoding, decoding, and transmission protocols
  • Experience with network management and troubleshooting tools, such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role, with a focus on video and datacom systems
  • Experience with cloud-based video and datacom platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat analysis and mitigation
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
