Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert - Phone Intake Representative, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and referral sources via phone, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues efficiently
  • Collect and enter clinical and demographic information into our CareCentrix portal, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Respond to approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day, navigating complex requests and empathetically addressing patient concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless care transitions and resolve issues promptly
  • Meet or exceed individual performance goals in areas such as Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and Contact Center objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and careerzynith's policies and procedures

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in the healthcare or medical industry with medical terminology
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications
  • Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 30 WPM, data entry while active listening)
  • Basic PC skills working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel Spreadsheets, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to search the internet using a search engine, troubleshoot, and navigate multiple applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Internet Requirements

To ensure seamless communication and data entry, you will need:

  • High-speed internet connection (Fiber or Cable) with speeds of 2mb/10mb upload and 10mb/25mb download or higher
  • A reliable computer with a dual monitor setup and necessary software applications
  • A headset or earbuds with a microphone for clear communication
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace with minimal background noise
