The Role

As an Inside Customer Service Representative/Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll be at the forefront of our customer interactions, collaborating closely with various departments to provide exceptional service and solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone, fax, or email, accurately determining their requirements and needs.
  • Utilizing available resources to provide quotes and process orders efficiently, maintaining meticulous documentation.
  • Effectively communicating pricing, lead times, and product information to both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborating with various departments to fulfill special customer requests, optimizing solutions and building strong customer relationships.
  • Staying informed about our production and shipping methods to ensure accurate delivery timelines and proactive communication.
  • Championing continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to office procedures and departmental performance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Strong analytical skills to efficiently address customer inquiries and provide optimal solutions.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and motivation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adapting your approach as needed.
  • The ability to switch focus quickly while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Computer literacy, solid typing skills, and an aptitude for navigating digital tools.
  • An Associate's degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous relevant experience and/or training is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or work-from-home environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other digital tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
