Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our geographic data group, you'll be responsible for creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing PC-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to our local dealmakers. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and analytical individual with a passion for geographic data, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Design PC-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned areas using MapInfo, as requested by local dealmakers
- Process requests and inquiries directly from careerzynith activities for market strategy guides and presentation materials
- Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including data analysis and interpretation, as assigned
- Provide administrative support to local dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative needs as required
- Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and processing, ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly, ensuring PCs are working accurately, recording, booking deliveries, and requesting office supplies
Required Skills
* General knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
- Familiarity with data analysis and insights presentation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
* Proficiency in MapInfo
- Experience with geographic data analysis and interpretation
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic data systems
