Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Correcting OCR errors and transcribing data from source documents with precision and accuracy
- Verifying entered data with source documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Applying composition codes and style rules to maintain quality standards
- Checking for compliance with style guide rules to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Consistently meeting quality requirements and production deadlines
- Problem-solving and escalating issues that may impact delivery of a quality, on-time product
- Participating in team meetings and projects to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
- Assisting in training new employees, maintaining work instructions, and recommending changes for improvement
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Highly detail-oriented and efficient, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks reliably and accurately
- Aptitude for scanning to recognize visual patterns and acquire information from detailed rule sets
- Ability to follow written standard operating procedures and meet production deadlines
- Good verbal, written, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar document editing software
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
