Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-centric Remote Scheduler/Customer Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for scheduling engineer visits, interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat, and resolving customer inquiries and issues. You will also be required to prioritize customer visits to ensure the vulnerable/elderly and emergency appointments are dealt with promptly. Full training will be provided, and we are committed to supporting your growth and development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat to assist with inquiries and resolve issues - Analyze customer needs and book engineer visits in accordance with their requirements - Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently - Uphold phone etiquette standards when interacting with customers - Create invoices/quotes and update all customer notes accordingly - Order parts for return visits when required - Perform other office duties as required - Work full-time if and when needed to cover other staff holidays and sickness

Requirements

- Excellent communication and organizational skills - Proficient in data entry and able to work with various software applications - Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions - Knowledge of Sales Ledger/Word/Excel desirable but not essential as training will be provided - Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure

Essential Qualifications

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred) - 1 year of customer service experience (preferred) - Driving License (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a customer-facing role - Knowledge of plumbing and heating industry - Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools

Skills and Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in data entry and software applications - Ability to analyze customer needs and provide solutions - Knowledge of Sales Ledger/Word/Excel (desirable)
