Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist II, Revenue Accounting, you'll be responsible for performing fundamental accounting functions, including:

• Reviewing accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Processing refund claims and updating journal vouchers in a timely manner
• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies, including communication with external contacts as necessary
• Completing data entry of accounting information with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Modifying and reviewing daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests
• Distributing and storing month-end closing statistics reports
• Performing various tasks and ad-hoc activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to support the department's/organization's achievement of goals and business objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A High School diploma or GED equivalency; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field is preferred
• Aircraft/travel industry accounting experience is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and systems
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Intelligent and analytical ability to reason and problem-solve
