As a vital member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, this position will strategically collaborate with the broader Finance Team to help WEG achieve its financial goals and commitments. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions, supporting financial planning, and delivering critical insights to senior management. This is a Hybrid position (Working 2 days in-office at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN and 3 days remotely from home weekly). In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis using various methods, including trend, variance, and ratio analysis
- Develop financial models to forecast performance and identify risks or opportunities
- Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights supporting business decisions
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to guide recommendations for investments or business strategies
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for projects or investments
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual results, providing recommendations for corrective action
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and planning
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software

- Knowledge of Workday and Workday Adaptive preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality preferred
