Health Coach (Fully Remote)

Remote | Flexible Schedule | $28–$38 per hour EZ Health helps older adults navigate the parts of healthcare that can feel confusing, frustrating, or overwhelming. We are hiring thoughtful, dependable Health Support Coaches to work directly with seniors and help them get the support they need. This role is relationship-based, not a traditional call center job. Instead of rushing through a high volume of calls, you will support a manageable group of clients and help them work through practical healthcare and daily-life needs. You may help a client understand the next step after a doctor’s visit, schedule transportation, follow up on a referral, resolve a pharmacy issue, find meal support, or connect with local community resources. Much of the work happens over the phone, so this position is a good fit for someone who communicates clearly, listens well, and enjoys speaking with older adults. What the role involves Many seniors need help but do not always know who to call, what to ask, or how to move things forward. As a Health Support Coach, you will be a steady point of support. You will listen carefully, ask questions, explain information in simple terms, and stay involved until the issue is resolved or the next step is clear. Your responsibilities may include: Checking in with clients by phone to understand their needs Helping clients prepare for upcoming appointments or follow up afterward Explaining services, benefits, referrals, and action steps in plain language Coordinating practical support such as transportation, meals, pharmacy needs, and community services Calling medical offices, insurance plans, pharmacies, and local organizations on behalf of clients Keeping clear notes and tracking follow-up items Helping clients feel supported, informed, and less overwhelmed Who we’re looking for This role may be a great fit if you are warm, patient, and comfortable helping older adults by phone. Strong candidates are organized, reliable, and able to follow through on multiple open tasks. You should enjoy solving everyday problems, communicating clearly, and using basic online tools such as email, spreadsheets, and written notes.
