Position Overview – Hybrid Customer Service & Sales Representative

As a Hybrid Customer Service & Sales Representative at careerzynith, you will be the front‑line ambassador for our brand, delivering exceptional service to both prospective and existing customers. You will blend consultative sales techniques with technical support expertise to help customers select the right voice, internet, and wireless plans, resolve billing inquiries, and troubleshoot basic technical issues. This role operates on a hybrid schedule—three to four days per week in our state‑of‑the‑art Richardson, TX contact center and one to two days working remotely from a dedicated home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition & Upselling: Identify opportunities to recommend careerzynith’s latest devices, plans, and services, guiding customers toward solutions that fit their lifestyle and budget.
  • Service Activation & Setup: Process new service requests, ensuring seamless activation of voice, internet, and wireless products for both residential and business clients.
  • Billing & Account Management: Explain billing statements, resolve payment issues, process plan changes, and handle upgrades or downgrades with accuracy and empathy.
  • Technical Support: Perform basic troubleshooting for internet, voice, and data services; escalate complex issues to Tier 3 specialists when necessary.
  • Multi‑Channel Communication: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, email, and social media, maintaining a consistent and professional tone across all platforms.
  • Data Entry & System Utilization: Accurately document interactions in careerzynith’s CRM, using multiple internal tools to track service requests, sales leads, and resolution outcomes.
  • Cross‑Training & Flexibility: Participate in ongoing training to broaden expertise in collections, retention, sales coordination, billing adjustments, and advanced technical support.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores and adherence to quality standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a call‑center, customer service, or sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas and deliver exceptional service in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex billing and technical concepts.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.

  • Commission Potential: Up to $36,000 in annual commissions for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
