Luxury Hotel Event Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and sophisticated Luxury Hotel Event Manager to orchestrate exceptional guest experiences for high-profile events. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your planning expertise and creativity from anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a refined palate for luxury, a meticulous eye for detail, and a proven ability to manage all facets of event planning and execution, from concept to completion. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, developing detailed event proposals and budgets, coordinating with internal departments (culinary, banquet, audiovisual, etc.), and sourcing external vendors as needed. You will oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to timelines. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and manage expectations, as well as strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor contracts. You will also be responsible for managing event staff, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring the highest standards of service are met. The ability to anticipate client needs and proactively offer creative solutions is essential. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can bring innovative ideas to life and deliver unforgettable events that exceed expectations. Proficiency in event management software and a passion for the hospitality industry are key. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury event management, preferably within the hotel industry. Proven ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously. Excellent understanding of event logistics, including AV, catering, and decor. Strong budget management and negotiation skills. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication abilities. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Creativity, problem-solving skills, and a high level of professionalism. Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
