Work From Home Work From Home Work From Home, Indiana 46544 The Cost Reporting Manager of Franciscan reviews and prepares third-party cost reports and other associated filings, and calculates third-party cost reserves on a monthly and annual basis for all the System facilities. This position, also, provides ongoing updates, modeling, and recommendations to the Administrative Director Governmental and Cost Reimbursement. This management role has in-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations, to prepare the necessary reports for the organization. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Prepare, analyze, and review Franciscan Alliance's annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for accuracy, and make recommendations to optimize Franciscan Alliance's reimbursement under the Medicare/Medicaid program regulations. Monitor changes in DRG reimbursement; rates, weightings, various indexes, cost outliers, and capital and updates DRG profiles to ensure compliance with the federal register. Develop system-wide cost reports for socialization with Franciscan Alliance executive leadership. Conducts multi-year forecasts of government reimbursement programs. Ensure cost reports are prepared in accordance with federal and state regulations.
