Medical Marijuana Certification Provider (MD or DO)

NuggMD connects doctors and patients online, via live video, for medical marijuana evaluations and recommendations. Job Overview: We are seeking MD or DO in Texas with an active unrestricted license who is currently registered with the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas to certify patients for medical cannabis. We periodically offer in-person patient drives with affiliates where providers can do in-person events and evaluations. Company Benefits: Flexible, 100% remote work Compensation: Contract role $10,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month Responsibilities:

• Review medical records and patient applications through our HIPAA-compliant platform.
• Conduct telehealth evaluations of patients to determine eligibility for medical marijuana certification.
• Educate patients on the benefits of medical marijuana and discuss alternatives to pharmaceutical treatments.
• Issue certifications for eligible patients through theCompassionate Use Registry of Texas.
• Answer patient questions and provide guidance on medical marijuana usage.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO in Texas with prescriptive authority to recommend medical cannabis in Texas.
• Certified professionals must be registered withthe Compassionate Use Registry of Texas to certify patients for medical cannabis.
• Providers must be able to conduct telehealth evaluations.
• Providers who can do in-person events and evaluations are preferred (this is not a requirement)
