NetSuite Functional Consultant & Developer (AEST Time Zone)
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant & Developer to join a fast-moving ERP transformation and managed services environment. This role combines functional consulting, technical development, warehouse operations, and integration delivery across Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain domains. The ideal candidate will work across end-to-end NetSuite implementations, system enhancements, and operational optimization initiatives, helping businesses streamline finance and warehouse operations while building scalable and reliable ERP solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead NetSuite discovery workshops and solution design sessions Configure and customize NetSuite modules across Finance, Operations, Inventory, and Warehouse Management Develop SuiteScript 2.x customizations, workflows, dashboards, and saved searches Design and support integrations using REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk, and OAuth 2.0 Build and optimize warehouse workflows including pick-pack-ship, replenishment, cycle counting, and scanner integrations Support multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and inventory management implementations Create functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and client status reports Provide ongoing system enhancements, troubleshooting, and managed services support Collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership stakeholders to improve business processes Required Skills & Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on NetSuite experience Experience in at least two full-cycle NetSuite implementations in a lead consultant or developer role Strong functional knowledge of:GL, AP, AR, Banking Procurement & Order Management Inventory & Warehouse Management Multi-Currency & Multi-Subsidiary environments Strong SuiteScript 2.x experience:User Event Client Scripts Scheduled Scripts Map/Reduce Suitelets RESTlets Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteBuilder Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk, and OAuth 2.0 Experience with warehouse processes including bin management, lot/serial tracking, and handheld scanner workflows Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to independently create functional documents and present solutions to business stakeholders Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills: NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer) Experience in distribution, manufacturing, construction-supply, or financial services industries Experience supporting ANZ business entities and reporting structures Familiarity with AI/automation workflows, MCP architectures, or LLM-assisted development Ideal Candidate Profile: Comfortable balancing functional consulting and technical development Strong consultative mindset who can challenge and guide stakeholders when needed Able to work independently in fast-paced delivery environments Strong problem-solver with ownership mindset Comfortable working across both implementation and support engagements What Success Looks Like: Successful delivery of scalable NetSuite solutions Stable and optimized finance and warehouse operations Reliable integrations and streamlined business workflows High client satisfaction and improved operational efficiency ABOUT ISHIR ISHIR is a digital innovation and enterprise AI services provider.
