Online Adjunct - School Of Nursing & Health Sciences Aspen University is looking for experienced Online Adjunct Faculty to join the School of Nursing & Health Sciences. Essential duties and responsibilities include
- Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population
- Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments
- Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations
- Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading
- Empower students to learn and grow through evidence-based feedback and guidance
- Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies
- Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning
- Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies
- Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours Education
- Master's or Doctorate degree from accredited institution depending on program requirements Licenses/Certifications
- Current, unencumbered nursing license required
- Specific additional licensure may be required depending on state/program Adjunct Compensation
