Job Summary and Responsibilities Are you interested in doing peer review within your specialty? Would you enjoy reviewing medical records for standard of care determinations and providing quality improvement recommendations? Looking for an opportunity where you can work from home with a flexible schedule? Have you considered peer review as non-clinical work that could make you a better clinician? Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules. Acentra Health is seeking peer reviewers with at least 5 years of clinical experience to review medical records and make a standard of care determination. The reports require the peer reviewer to discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, overall care provided and QI recommendations. We are seeking: Family Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications
Active unrestricted license Board certification (Physicians only) 5 years' clinical experience as a Family Medicine Physician, or Physician Assistant, or RN, or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with 5 years' experience in an outpatient setting. Active clinical practice of at least 20 hours per week Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent written communication skills #LI-RW1 Why us?
