Product Designer - Logistics (US Remote)
About the Role
This is a permanent/full-time position directly with our client. In this role, you will design the operational systems that power millions of orders across warehouse management, transportation, and logistics workflows. Rather than focusing on surface level UI improvements, you will create intuitive experiences that make warehouse operators, logistics coordinators, and supply chain teams faster, more accurate, and more confident in high velocity environments. You will work closely with warehouse operators, supply chain experts, product managers, and engineers to simplify deeply complex workflows across WMS, TMS, and operational tooling. From handheld scanners to forklift mounted tablets and desktop workstations, your work will directly impact how real inventory and shipments move through the network every day. - 4+ Years of Product Design Experience with at least 2 years focused on complex B2B, operational, or workflow heavy software.
- Complex Systems Design Expertise involving multi step workflows, exception handling, data dense interfaces, and operational tooling.
- Strong User Research Skills including field research, usability testing, and translating operational insights into actionable design decisions.
- Advanced Figma Proficiency with experience in high fidelity prototyping, component libraries, and scalable design systems.
- Operational UX Thinking focused on optimizing interfaces for speed, efficiency, and accuracy in time sensitive environments.
- Cross Functional Collaboration with the ability to work closely with engineering and product teams while advocating for excellent user experiences.
- Storytelling and Communication Skills that help engineering teams emotionally connect with the user problems being solved.
- Bias for Action with the ability to move quickly, iterate rapidly, and balance design quality with execution speed.
Nice to Have
- Domain Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, transportation, or field service applications.
- Specialized Device Design Experience for handheld scanners, tablets, forklift mounted systems, or operational hardware.
- Startup or Scale Up Background within fast paced environments where rapid iteration and ambiguity are common.
- AI Powered Design Workflow Familiarity using AI tools to accelerate prototyping, ideation, and iteration cycles.
- Warehouse or Distribution Center Research Experience conducting usability testing in operational environments.
- Portfolio Examples demonstrating the simplification of highly complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Design System Contributions helping establish consistency and scalable UX standards across platforms.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year Application Question(s):
