Position Overview Amass Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Remote Recruiter to support Augment Human Resource Services (AHRS) in nationwide recruiting operations for the waste management and environmental services industry. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding high-volume general labor talent for positions such as Driver Helpers, Sorters, Laborers, Recycling Facility Workers, Landfill Laborers, and other sanitation support personnel across the United States. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, excels at relationship building, and can manage multiple openings simultaneously while maintaining urgency and quality. The Remote Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring workforce continuity for major waste management and recycling operations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Source qualified candidates for general labor and sanitation industry positions using job boards, social media, referrals, local outreach, and recruiting databases. Manage high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple markets and client accounts nationwide. Conduct phone screenings and virtual interviews to evaluate candidate fit, reliability, availability, and transportation access. Coordinate onboarding activities including background checks, employment documentation, and pre-employment requirements. Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to improve retention and start rates. Partner closely with Account Managers and Operations teams to fulfill staffing demands quickly and efficiently. Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within the company ATS/CRM systems. Track recruiting metrics including applicant flow, interviews, placements, starts, and retention. Assist with workforce planning initiatives and pipeline development for high-demand regions. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations. Support rapid-response hiring initiatives for urgent staffing requests and project ramp-ups. Promote a positive candidate experience and represent the Amass/Augment brand professionally. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Technical & Professional Qualifications 1–3 years of recruiting or staffing experience preferred. Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments strongly preferred. Prior experience recruiting for general labor, industrial, warehouse, logistics, sanitation, waste management, or blue-collar roles is highly desired. Strong understanding of recruiting workflows, sourcing strategies, and candidate management. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ATS, CRM, and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook Jobs, or similar tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Staffing agency or workforce solutions experience preferred. Experience supporting nationwide recruiting campaigns is a plus. Knowledge of DOT-related or safety-sensitive hiring environments is beneficial.
