[Remote] Account Executive, Higher Education Faculty Sales

Uflo is an AI teacher partner that supports instructors throughout the entire course lifecycle, and they are seeking an Account Executive for Higher Education Faculty Sales. This role involves building new pipelines, closing customers, and defining sales strategies in the higher education market, targeting faculty and academic leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and deliver 5 first new meetings per week; build $25-50K in new pipeline weekly
  • Own the full cycle: prospecting, demo, pilot, negotiation, close
  • Carry a fully ramped $600K annual new ARR quota with 3x pipeline coverage
  • Manage consultative sales with 3 to 9 month cycles and multiple buyers
  • Lead conversations around Uflo's Socratic Tutor, AI learning tools, and automated grading
  • Support faculty and departments in adopting AI tools in ways that are pedagogical, maintain academic integrity and rigor, and improve students' learning experience
  • Build faculty champions and expand early adoption into departmental and institutional deals
  • Partner with leadership to refine messaging, pricing, and process based on market feedback
  • Travel 25% to 50%

Skills

  • 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience
  • 3+ years selling courseware, textbooks, digital learning tools, assessment solutions, LMS products, or SaaS into higher education
  • Proven new logo acquisition and instructor-led or department-led adoption experience
  • Ability to prospect independently, manage pilots, and convert champions into broader adoption
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Experience with community colleges, OER programs, or student equity and retention initiatives
  • Experience with course adoption cycles and faculty buying behavior
  • Familiarity with LMS ecosystems such as Canvas, Blackboard, and D2L
  • Background at publishers or EdTech companies like Cengage, Pearson, McGraw Hill, Macmillan Learning
