Remote Accounts Payable Specialist required for company based in Arizona! Prescott, AZ- based company is currently in need of remote Accounts Payable Specialist! The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in managing the financial operations of the Accounts Payable department. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliations while maintaining strong financial controls. This position requires direct accounting experience to effectively manage financial transactions and support the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices and ensure accurate, timely payments to vendors Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and accurate financial records Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment inquiries, spending 50–75% of the shift on the phone Support the Accounts Payable Manager in month-end closing and reporting Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures Apply strong attention to detail and financial literacy in all tasks Accounts Payable processing and reconciliation High attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills for phone and email interactions Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Ideal Personality & Mindset Service-minded and proactive in resolving issues Collaborative and dependable team player Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability Professional and courteous when communicating with vendors and colleagues Skills requirements Excellent English verbal and written communication Strategic thinker Writing and documentation skills Must be able to prioritize work Courteous and friendly Organized and has great attention to detail and quality assurance Ability to build trust Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Other skills as required Software requirement – Licensed OS Hardware requirements 5 MBPS or higher Internet (hardwired / not WIFI).
