Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and verify clinical data from multiple sources including electronic health records (EHRs), medical charts, and other healthcare databases.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of clinical data in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with clinical teams, data analysts, and healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing information.
- Maintain and update databases, generating regular reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of data for clinical research studies, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and insights from clinical data to support decision-making processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance data management workflows.
- Provide support for audits and data validation exercises as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and healthcare terminology.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical databases.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex clinical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; knowledge of data management tools preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with clinical and administrative teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical data coordination, health information management, or medical records analysis.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time remote role with standard business hours flexibility.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to meet project deadlines or support data audits.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare data standards, HIPAA regulations, and clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT).
