Remote Customer Care Specialist - Pharmacy Support

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding prescriptions, pharmacy services, and general healthcare questions via phone, email, and chat.

Provide accurate information on medication use, dosage instructions, refill processes, and Walgreens pharmacy programs.

Assist customers with navigating online pharmacy services, including prescription transfers and refill requests.

Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate pharmacy or management personnel while maintaining accountability.

Document customer interactions accurately in company systems, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with pharmacists and internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer support experience.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • *

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.

  • *

Previous customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail settings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • *

Proficiency with computer systems, online platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is a plus.

1–3 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or pharmacy support roles.
