Remote Data Analyst / Data Modeler
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst / Data Modeler to join our innovative team. - Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support business analytics and reporting needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient database structures
- Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and scripting languages such as Python or Java
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and analysis in environments like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Linux-based systems
- Conduct detailed analysis of large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements
- Support the development of data warehouses by implementing best practices in database design and architecture
- Work within Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements on data solutions while ensuring high quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAP systems and extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming, including PL/SQL for Oracle databases and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or similar platforms
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python and Java for automation and data processing tasks
- Solid understanding of Linux environments, database design principles, and data warehouse architecture
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies to facilitate collaborative project execution
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts including normalization, denormalization, star schema design, and dimensional modeling
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
