Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking meticulous, self‑driven individuals to join our remote workforce as Data Entry Specialists. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data capture pipeline, ensuring that every image, document, and piece of information is accurately entered, verified, and protected. Your work will directly support careerzynith’s mission to deliver reliable, high‑quality data to our healthcare partners, enabling them to make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from a continuous stream of images into the QuickClaim system, maintaining a high level of precision.
  • Identify and classify document types based on provided documentation, applying established taxonomy guidelines.
  • Review and verify entered data to ensure it meets or exceeds quality standards, correcting any discrepancies promptly.
  • Safeguard all Personal Health Information (PHI) in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations and careerzynith’s internal privacy policies.
  • Communicate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional staff to resolve ambiguities and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Propose actionable recommendations for process enhancements, automation opportunities, or quality‑control improvements.
  • Complete daily task quotas, ensuring that all assigned work is finished before the end of your shift.
  • Perform additional office duties as assigned, such as basic data audits, reporting, or assisting with training new hires.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a remote, autonomous environment.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities; capable of handling multiple document streams without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Laser‑focused attention to detail while maintaining efficient throughput.
  • Quick learning aptitude; comfortable following both simple and complex instructions.
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client and patient data at all times.
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken – to ensure clear communication and accurate data entry.
  • Typing proficiency: Minimum 50 words per minute (WPM) with at least 95% accuracy.
  • Keyboard proficiency: Minimum 4,500 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with at least 95% accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare data entry, medical billing, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for PHI handling.
  • Experience using document management or claims processing platforms similar to QuickClaim.
  • Basic understanding of electronic data interchange (EDI) concepts and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Work Schedule & Compensation

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate a variety of lifestyles:

  • Hourly rate: $12 per hour.
  • Both part‑time (minimum 20 hours per week) and full‑time positions are available, with full‑time preferred.
  • Shift windows range from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
  • All roles are remote; you can work from anywhere in the United States, including the Superior, WI region.
