Remote Employment Law Legal Assistant Needed to Join Great Team!
Michael Sullivan & Associates LLP is seeking a full-time Employment Law Legal Assistant to support our employment law team. The Legal Assistant maintains a close professional relationship with attorneys and manages their day-to-day activities, all while working from home! #Telework JOB SUMMARY
- provides administrative and clerical support to one or more attorneys and the Office Supervisor;
- prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents;
- schedules medical appointments;
- proofreads documents for spelling and grammar;
- organizes and maintains files;
- screens telephone calls and visitors;
- reads and responds to mail.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- must have 3 or more years of employment law experience;
- defense experience preferred but not required;
- high school diploma or equivalent;
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required;
- strong written and oral communication;
- highly organized;
- MS Word proficiency;
- type 50 wpm;
- demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must live in the state of California.
