Remote English Teacher — U.S. Elementary Schools
Position Contract Remote English Teacher — U.S. Elementary Schools Overview Air Reading is seeking dedicated teachers to provide structured, high-quality online reading instruction to K-6 students to support literacy development.
Responsibilities
- Teach reading classes via Zoom to groups of up to four students in 30- or 40-minute sessions.
- Be available during school and after-school hours; most classes are scheduled between early morning and late afternoon, Monday through Friday.
- Follow a provided curriculum with clear lesson directions.
- Provide regular feedback on student progress and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Maintain a flexible schedule and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or literacy-related fields preferred.
- Experience teaching reading, ESL, and phonics in early elementary grades.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus.
- Proficiency with Zoom and educational technologies.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required. Compensation and schedule Base pay range $24.00/hr compensation up to $24/hour (12 for 30-minute sessions) or $16 for 40-minute sessions. Employment details
