[Remote] Global Revenue Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, providing an enterprise orchestration layer for AI. They are seeking a Global Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure proper recording of revenue transactions, maintain control processes, and manage critical deliverables for the monthly close.

Responsibilities

• Review standard and non-standard deals to determine appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and ensure correct setup in NetSuite (Zone Advanced Billing)
• Own the deferred and unbilled revenue schedules, including monthly account reconciliations, analytics, and license fulfillment validation
• Run control processes to detect, investigate, and resolve unusual activity in GL accounts and our automated billing system
• Lead process improvement initiatives to drive greater automation and stronger controls, including projects within Dataiku DSS
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, AR, Tax, Deal Desk, Legal, and Professional Services on both recurring and ad-hoc projects
• Contribute to accounting memos and support external audit requests for all revenue-related matters

Skills

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606 or IFRS 15)
• Background combining public accounting (Big 4 or Big 10, 2–3 years minimum) and industry experience — you've worked directly in the systems, not just reviewed other people's work
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Collaborative mindset — able to work effectively across teams, cultures, and personalities
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CRM; Zone Advanced Billing is a strong plus
• Prior experience in a software or SaaS company
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with SQL, Ruby, or Python
• CPA or equivalent preferred
