Key Responsibilities

  • * Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies.
  • * Verify patient insurance coverage and update records accordingly.
  • * Manage accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims.
  • * Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • * Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • * Generate reports and maintain detailed billing documentation.
  • * Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve claim denials and payment delays.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * Strong understanding of healthcare billing and insurance claim processes.
  • * Proficiency in medical coding and billing software.
  • * Excellent data entry and typing skills with high accuracy.
  • * Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • * Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
  • * Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient data confidentiality.
  • Experience
  • * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • * Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
  • * Freshers with relevant certifications in medical billing can also apply.
  • Working Hours
  • * Flexible remote schedule with an expectation of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
  • * Occasional weekend availability may be required during peak periods.

  • * In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing systems and practices.
  • * Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
  • * Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
