  • Responsibilities
  • Respond to all levels of inbound Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and major medical insurance-related phone calls.
  • Resolve questions and problems submitted by customers and PBM following established guidelines.
  • Assist physicians in the prior authorization process, including the initiation of prior authorizations.
  • Verify benefits for Major Medical via online resources or over the phone, ensuring payment of claims.
  • Document contact interactions, recording details, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience providing customer service in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, call center setting, or other related industry
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal) with good interpersonal skills
  • Basic level PC skills, including MS Windows and MS Office Suite
  • Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing customer service related to adherence and complex disease states
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve problems
  • Intermediate level PC skills, including MS Windows and MS Office Suite
