[Remote] Java Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AMISEQ is seeking Java Engineers who are proficient with AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor. The role involves providing technical leadership, owning complete solutions across the product lifecycle, and ensuring quality and performance of delivered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Focus across multiple areas and provide technical leadership to engineering teams
- Own complete solutions across the entire product life cycle
- Influence product vision with managers, customers, and cross-functional teams
- Accountable for quality, usability, and performance of delivered solutions
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering standards
- Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
Skills
- Proficient with use of AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor
- Fluency in Java and object-oriented design
- Experience building products with microservices architecture and extensible REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with architecture and design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Fluency in DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and Azure operational frameworks
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
- Understanding of datacenter capabilities and Azure native services
- Knowledge of security protocols: Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, Windows Authentication
- Professional software development (Java - JEE, Spring Boot)
- Open-source frameworks
- Architecture and design
- Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
