Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Remote Lead Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in robotics to drive cutting-edge projects. This is a fully remote position, offering an exceptional opportunity to lead and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in robotic systems from anywhere. You will be responsible for the mechanical design, development, and integration of complex robotic platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Your leadership will guide the conceptualization and execution of novel mechanical solutions for a variety of applications. Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire mechanical design lifecycle, from initial concept generation and feasibility studies to detailed design, prototyping, testing, and production support. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. This involves performing complex engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and dynamic simulations using FEA and CFD tools. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and control systems specialists to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with other subsystems. Developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources for mechanical engineering tasks will also be a critical part of your role. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices is paramount. Candidates must hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on robotics or mechatronics. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role focused on robotics, is required. Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA), FEA/CFD analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL), and a deep understanding of materials science, kinematics, dynamics, and control systems are essential. Experience with robotic manipulation, locomotion, and human-robot interaction is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are crucial for effective remote team collaboration and project delivery. Apply To this Job
