[Remote] Operational Account Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PGAM Media operates across the programmatic supply chain and is looking for an Operational Account Manager to enhance operational throughput. This role involves managing partner onboarding, ensuring operational efficiencies, and maintaining accurate reporting and reconciliation for demand and supply partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end onboarding for new demand and supply partners: kickoff, technical setup, integration testing, go-live, and the first 30-day stabilization period
  • Translate signed IOs and contract terms (payment terms, fees, floors, fraud and brand-safety requirements) into correct platform configuration so commercial terms are actually enforced in the wiring, not just in the PDF
  • Coordinate integration work across our SSP platforms, DSP, and partner-side tech teams; manage tag/endpoint setup, seat provisioning, and traffic ramp
  • Run pre-launch QA: verify bid responses, creative rendering, pixel/postback firing, and reporting alignment before scaling spend
  • Maintain a repeatable onboarding playbook and checklist so the process is not dependent on tribal knowledge
  • Monitor live demand and supply performance daily: fill, win rates, discrepancies, latency, throttling, and margin integrity
  • Catch and resolve discrepancies between partner-reported and PGAM-received numbers before they become disputes or write-offs. (Known examples: holdback columns that must be read from the received figure, not the reported figure; platform fee corrections that must be applied at the data layer.)
  • Identify and eliminate manual reporting steps; push toward automated daily data pulls and dashboards
  • Surface optimization opportunities to leadership: underperforming endpoints, mispriced floors, partners to scale or sunset
  • Own the operational side of payment-terms enforcement (Net 45-60 supply terms, netting arrangements) in coordination with finance
  • Produce and maintain accurate daily and monthly partner reporting across both sides of the book
  • Reconcile platform data against partner statements and against finance's records; flag variances early
  • Support month-end close by ensuring revenue and payout data is clean, complete, and tied out before it reaches finance
  • Be the first responder for partner-reported issues (broken integrations, drops in spend or fill, creative or measurement failures)
  • Triage quickly: is it a config issue, a partner issue, or a platform issue? Escalate to engineering only when warranted, with a clear diagnosis
  • Maintain clean documentation of recurring issues and their fixes
  • Be the operational point of contact partners trust to get things done
  • Run regular check-ins with key partners on performance, troubleshooting, and growth
  • Protect PGAM's supply-chain confidentiality: partner-facing communications follow our standard of not exposing upstream or downstream vendor identities

Skills

  • 3+ years in programmatic ad-tech operations, account management, integrations, or yield/platform operations (SSP, DSP, ad network, or exchange)
  • Working fluency in the programmatic stack: OpenRTB, SSP/DSP mechanics, VAST/VPAID, eCPM, fill, win rate, discrepancy sources, header bidding basics
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (advanced Excel/Sheets: lookups, pivots, reconciliation logic). Comfort working with raw platform exports and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to read data, find the leak, and fix it without hand-holding
  • Clear, direct written communication with external partners and internal finance
  • High ownership and follow-through. This is a lean team; nobody is going to chase you to close the loop
  • Direct experience with CTV/OLV and call/conversion attribution (VAST pixel wrapping, postback receivers, outcome-based attribution)
  • Experience configuring or operating an SSP or DSP platform directly
  • Light scripting (Python, Apps Script, SQL) for automating reporting pulls
  • Familiarity with ad fraud and brand-safety verification workflows
