[Remote] Project Manager (Natural Gas)

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager for Fossil Fuel Power Generation (Natural Gas) to lead early-stage project management functions. The role involves managing projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints while serving as a liaison for procurement and contractual arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the daily management of projects to ensure completion and cost-effective and results
- Use and rigorous thinking to work, determine highest priority actions and tenaciously promote projects forward
- Be a liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and utility interconnection
- Help construct contractual arrangements for the project, must be hands-on and willing to help write contract documents, both commercial and technical
- Negotiate agreements with equipment suppliers, technical consultants and contractors
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with focus on relevant field associated with fossil fuel power generation or related field
- 8 years in natural Gas-fired power generation or related field design and project management
- Experience in contract negotiation
- Engineering background to ensure oversight of engineering aspects of projects
- Skill with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management and scheduling Software
