[Remote] Sap Business Warehouse Business Intelligence Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Predica Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior BW/4HANA OR SAP BW ON HANA Consultant to join their SAP practice. This role involves designing and delivering robust data warehousing solutions that meet complex business needs, focusing on BW/4HANA modeling, ABAP on HANA optimization, and SAP Analytics Cloud integration.
Responsibilities
- BW/4HANA Data Modeling
- Design and implement BW/4HANA data models
- Build CompositeProviders, Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), and InfoObjects
- Remodel and harmonize data models to align with evolving requirements
- ABAP on HANA Development
- Develop and optimize ABAP code for HANA to maximize performance
- Apply HANA SQL scripting techniques for data processing and performance tuning
- Data Warehousing Optimization
- Optimize data loads and queries using HANA best practices
- Apply efficient data provisioning techniques and tools for large-scale systems
- BW/4HANA Operations
- Manage system architecture, configuration, and administration
- Handle process chains, data load management, and monitoring
- Support migration projects from BW to BW/4HANA using proven tools and methodologies
- Core Data Services (CDS) & Extraction
- Build and utilize CDS views for real-time data extraction and reporting
- Create custom extractor logic using CDS for direct access scenarios
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Integration
- Establish and maintain live data connections between SAC and BW/4HANA
- Design interactive dashboards and analytical stories for business reporting
Skills
- Extensive experience in BW/4HANA modeling concepts
- Strong ABAP on HANA programming skills
- Proficiency in HANA SQL scripting and performance optimization
- Proven track record of BW to BW/4HANA migration projects
- Experience creating and utilizing Core Data Services (CDS) views
- Hands-on integration experience between SAC and BW/4HANA
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of real-time data access architecture
- Experience in SAC-based executive dashboards and KPI reporting
- Exposure to large enterprise SAP landscapes
