[Remote] Senior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CBIZ is seeking a highly experienced Interim Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This hands-on role emphasizes preparation work and requires an individual who can operate independently with minimal oversight, focusing on general ledger accounting and multi-currency environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute general accounting activities, including G&A accruals (with a focus on professional services)
- Prepare and perform detailed legal entity (LE) reconciliations
- Multi-currency reconciliations
- Realized and unrealized FX gain/loss analysis
- CTA (Cumulative Translation Adjustment) support
- Support multi-entity, international accounting operations
- Booking journal entries across various currencies
- Assisting with complex consolidation entries
- Analyze financial results and proactively ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts
- Perform month-end close preparation activities with high attention to detail
- Conduct functional currency analysis and assess risk for entities that may be set up incorrectly
- Leverage NetSuite for daily accounting operations and reporting
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and reconcile large data sets
Skills
- Highly experienced Interim Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
- Deep expertise in general ledger accounting
- Experience in multi-currency environments
- Proficiency in NetSuite
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
